Dear ms-engineer-to-be ,
Bianneyo I could not wave goodbyes to you at the airport.
Engineering aint easy, nor does living oversea.
You’ll have your freedom of choices… but with freedom comes responsibility.
Thousand miles away from home, you’ll discover a lot more about your real “home”
~the people, the heaven, the earth..and everything in it =)
You’ll experiences things you would never expected.
Wonder never cease of things you’d notice about yourself.
Make friends not just with books in the libraries.
Because you’ll learn a lot from people.
Treasure the differences when u should,
Take care not to spark arguments when you should not;
But stand tall to your faith whatever may come
Friends, they’ll be your siblings---for better or for worse.
So, learn how to hold hands when you disagree. Enjoy the time as it passes you.
Cherish the memories there…as it will haunt you forever once you BFG.
Rush for tomorrow, but forget not to enjoy your today.
Live simply, love deeply, believe in the truth---for the truth will always win; despite anything.
There will come times when you wish you have mama n abah there;
When the roads seem so much abandoned that it causes fear to creep deeply;
When you feel like giving up and go back home;
And when you feel like crying in the middle of the night;
Or shouting at your housemates like you did to adik;
When you miss hugging tom;
Or when you wish we are there to lend you ears n shoulders.
When those times come, close your eyes, take a deep breath and say to your heart
“ ….be strong, just a lil more”
You are there for reasons. Such a pErfect plan He has for you.
Hence a sincere niat is always a must. For anything you do…be it study or stido, Allah knows.
I believe Allah will take care of my adik. I pray for that. Always do, always will, inshaAllah.
Hold on to the Quran. It’ll be your supreme heart soother. It changes you, like it did to millions of people.
Learn about life. Live and love you life. Keep you iman. Study smart.
And bE haPpy. =D
